If Sony was smart

This is just an idea:

The new expliot by fanjita lets people run homebrew but not ISO's(i think correct me if i'm wrong). So why doesn't sony find a way to let people do homebrew on newer Versions but block ISO's.
I know it's stupid but i've been thinking about it for a while

but homebrew is small. and more money would go to Sony then now. Also more people would upgrade and less Iso's would be used. And people who are waiting for a downgrader would upgrade cuz they want homebrew.

sony's stopping of homebrew does 2 things for them that help their company. A, they are able to cover their asses for any possible illegal stuff, and B, they are able to sell more media therefore getting more companies to join the platform. As was said earlier if they did allow homebrew, then many people would not buy third party software as much(ex. games or movies on umd's)
