Lately I've been reading all over that just about everyone hates Sony because of numerous reasons: Lik-Sang shut down, PS3 prices, not using the PSP to it's full potential, not allowing homebrew, not enough demos.. the list goes on. So could this be the end of what we know as Sony?! I don't HATE sony, but I believe they need some redirection..
What do you guys think?

I remember 8 years ago when my dad got a TV or camera or whatever it was always Sony. Since than there have been many new companies taking the spot light away from Sony's products. And if you read statistics and stuff like that you'll see that Sony has suffered a great loss in most of its departments. The only department that keeps it alive is the Gaming department. If sony would have gone with a dvd player in the PS3 like xbox 360 and came out like last march it would be number 1 among gamers. The price would be less and Sony would be not so much hated. But Sony is trying to push Blue Ray as much as possible. And if they win the format wars with their Blue Ray format, Than they will be restored to their formal glory many many years ago. And they'll do much better. But if they lose like they did with the Beta Max and UmD formats thany they will go down. I read somewhere in the news that Sony lost 94 percent of their profits this year because of the PS3. So if you guyz want a PS4 someday than you guyz better show your loyalty and throw $600 at Sony to help them out.
I've had a playstation orginal and it was great, i had the original tony halk game and everything. Never got PS2 cause I was young and momy and dady said it was too expansive. One summer my friend told me and new systems comin out called "xbox". I said that sounds gay, I said "A box with a X on it?" BUt when he got it i came over to check it out to see what it was. Started playing PGR 1 and graphix were nice. Than HALO, and I was like o shit. Begged my parents and they got me an xbox 3 months after it came out. I still have it. Now I got my 360 and Halo 2 and a bunch of other cool games. Im glad I spent that $400+. It was worth it. I like that they don't push HD-DVD. I think thats smart, cuz if Blue Ray does succeed than a Blue ray add on will appear. If Blue ray loses.....u think you'll see a HD-DVD add on for PS3? Will PS3 survive? who knows.
I guess we'll see wut happens in 3 years.......... |

but i still thank sony for the psp, and theres no way that any of us here could hate them for that. |

The only people that actually worry about realease dates, homebrew and dare I say it, Lik Sang, are proboly 2 or 3% of Sony, or PSP users in general. And the PSP is a tiny branch of the Sony tree, so I dont think they can go the way of Sega. | |
