You might as well upgrade 1 of your psp's and if you do not like it downgrade with the downgrader built in,
Eze peze,
Give it a shot, i did and i have not looked back since.

Here is the package you need, by Dark_Alex 2.71 SE b` (AKA, 2.71 SE B2)
You also need two eboots, the 1.50 update and the 2.71 update, you can find them here: 1.50 Eboot Update 2.71 Eboot Update
On a side note, after your done you need to create 3 folders to prevent any errors:
1.Root: (/ISO)
2.Root: (/PSP/GAME150)
3.Root: (/PSP/GAME271)
^_^ Any homebrew put in (/PSP/GAME150) runs on 1.50,
Any homebrew put in (/PSP/GAME271) runs on 2.71,
Any ISO's put in (/ISO)... well, you get the idea.
By default, any homebrew put in (/PSP/GAME) runs on 2.71, But you can change it to 1.50 if you want to. ^_^ Here is the tutorial I made if you need more assistance.
