Can't get game to work

Hey all. I just bought this game called thrillville for psp. I have 2.71 seb2 whatever u call it for firmware. Well I start up the game and after like two screens, the psp turns off fully. It's calls for 2.81 firmware but Of course I won't upgrade. IS their a way to install firmware 2.81 on a emulater firmware of devhook so I don't loose my 2.71seb firmware? Please help!

Get SE-B3 (aka SE-B"). It basically ignores which version the game needs to run, so unless Thrillville requires an essential part of 2.80 or higher, it should work.

Strange, i do have that firmware. It loads up to about the screen where it shows like rated E and then it quits. What is going on? Would be more helpful if put a video on or is their another way around this.

Check that no cheat devices or extra modules are installed.

Things like CWcheat activate cheats automatically, which causes problems. Try it without modules, re-install 2.71SE, or simply use Devhook and emulate firmware v2.71 with the Param.sfo '2.XX-2.00' feature.

If it's still not working, there are hybrid 2.71/2.80 firmware files for Devhook around on the net, just look around.

Just restore 'PSPBTCNF.TXT' and 'PSPBTCNF_GAME.TXT', or restore 2.71SE-B".

EDIT! Let me clear this all up since I confused half of you. I downloaded the file from - ::: PSP-SCENE.ORG ::: » Unlock The Power Of Your PSP The 2.71 (right when page loads you'll c it) So i put that on the memory stick. Now what settings do i use in devhook to get the game working right? Cause when i launch the firmware, it is asking for me to update when i select umd ( I actually have the game not an iso) So what settings and what firmware do i use? Thx for the help

Ok I tried to reformat my memory stick and put that hybrid stuff on. Still froze my game when i just used the firmware 2.71se-c. When I used devhook, it wouldn't even start the game btw I'm using a umd not iso. SO WHAT DO I DO?? Plez help! Otherwise I just spent $40 bucks for nothing.
