Went into town today cos it was my mate's bday last week and he was getting a psp with his money. Went to Castle Games (note: im in uk) and bought it. Got it home and turned it on and it was a 2.01! Shame it's gone to someone who has NO interest in homebrew AT ALL. Im sure someone could've put it to better use.

Points: 355.32 Donate | | | Try and persuade him into liking homebrew - Get it to 2.71 SE-B", and show him some of the great features. Give him a chance to like homebrew - show him AOTM, Squarez, Dungeons, and some emulators - I'm sure he'll be impressed. |

Also he's now updated to 2.71 for Tekken: DR. I just hope he doesnt update higher, so I can save him before it's too late! Tbh I think hes one of the type who think 'i want it for psp games, not games made by random devs'. But I aim to show him the error of his ways! S'pose one gd thing is he dont got a wifi access point in his house so at least that outlaws the dreaded 'network update' option.

Points: 21.56 Donate | | | if you can try to borrow it downgrade to 1.5 and upgrade to 2.71SE-b`' he'll never notice the change and he cant upgrade when using vice city stories etc and when he finds the error of his ways he'll be set up already for homebrew and other homemade software.
p.s. one mind changer is the fact that umd back-ups run about 10 times faster, the comparison of gta vcs umd to backup for me showed the shear difference in the loading times.

Anyway, just show him gpSP (PM me if you can't find the right files), and a couple of games, or e[mulator] (it's a multi-emulator for NES, Game Boy, WonderSwan, GameGear/Master System, NEOGEO Pocket, and Lynx, just show him Sonic or something). | |
