hey guys just another 4 ideas
1. how does sony make games work on the psp is it a code that they put on the umd that make it play. how can we get the code, if we cant get the code howcome they can and how do they put it on the umd
2. same goes for demos how do they put the code on them.
3. can we get a blank chip thing that we can put any firmware on
4. can we trick the psp into loading an old firmware by making the psp think that it is a new one

2.same thing
3.the modchip is capable for dual boot . you can flash new firmware whenever.(except for ta-82-86 boards, i think)
4. i dont get your question. do you mean to trick the version to 1.00 and update to 1.5? because that will brick.

what if u unpack the 1.5 firmware and 3.03 then put the data from 1.5 into 3.03 but then it might work.

4... no. Just no. Editing an update EBOOT cannot downgrade a PSP. We've been trying that since version 2.00. |

Points: 15.78 Donate | | | No one is going to hack $ony. It's just not worth it. And what blank chip that comes with the PSP are you talking about? Do you mean the memory card because if that is what you are thinking, the firmware does not go on the memory card. It is on the actual PSP. |
