what is a firmware dump?
i dont kno im new here so can someone explain to me what it is

all files needed to run a psp are located in the flash, what version you have is the firmware, basically. a dump is just a "dump" of some of the files we managed to copy from the flash.

This is a really irrelevent reply, and I kow this is going to not bode well for me coming across as intelligent, however I picture "beavis and Butthead" making fun oif thier own "firmware dumps".

hehe yeah, Shut up

Firmware dumps are kinda cool, but dumped PSAR Files are pretty sweet!

they actually make sense.
