the memory stick sounds good... but signing up for the credit card will probably get you free spam mail to your house for life

no, its buy.com it dosnt give u spam. but if your that worried make another email accnt and put it on that one. But i didnt get any spam.

first of all its just signing up for a card, it doesnt affect your score, second you dont get anything in return, this is not a rebate, you get 30$ OFF when you order it. Bad credit scores are only when you fail to pay your bills on time stuff like that.

Well your both right. Part of your credit rating is based on available line of credit. The higher you have the more it lowers your credit rating, but this is only by small amounts unless you have bad credit reports and alot of available credit. My credit score is good and it was brought down about 10 pts just because I didn't realize that when my wife and I were buying furniture and stuff from stores, what they really were doing was issuing a special credit card.

im not worried about getting email spam, im talking actual mail spam. my brother used to sign up for cards and stuff to get free shirts, we've gotten crap mail at the house ever since.
