that really sucks, i dont have the origianls of mine either, why not go in to recovery and dg to 1.5 then back up to 3.03 oe then you can have your custom stuff.

hey yeah did same thing and boy do i feel stupid i did it like 2 mins before all this stuff on why not to do it came out but anyway im a little new at the custom firmware stuff how would u dg?

I did the same thing. Here's how I fixed it: I ran psar dumper through the recovery menu by putting it in the psp/game/recovery folder and running it as if it was the recovery program. I used it to dump the psar from the 3.10 update eboot, took the topmenu_plugin file from the firmware dump, and put it back where it belonged using the 3.10 OE recovery menu's ability to write flash0 via USB. It worked perfectly for me. The place in flash0 where you need to put the file will be the equivalent of where it was in the dump. If you need more info, let me know.

Also, I can email you the original file if you wish. Please let me know.

I had a similar problem with the topmenu_plugin too. by the end i had to use a another thread to recover all the way back to the 1.50 firmware. After that i re-used the 3.40 firmware maker. It worked just as fast and i have had no other problems since..
