pspgamer, what depends is file size. With small file sizes comes low quality, so you gotta ask yourself...do you want less files but better quality, or more files but poorer quality? this will determine your storage capacity with photos, video, or music.

most songs are 3-4-5 mbs and after do that do the math

It depends you can get mp3's down to 1-2MB reduced quality with compression, but good enough just for some tunes. And as you can see the psp3d staff has great compressed videos even with a 32mb stick. As said before, it all depends.
