I tried to flash a .rar file i renamed as a .rco so I could have a custom XMB wave I downloaded and it was a .rar so I thought I could just rename it and it would work. I have 3.01 oe so I can run the system recovery by holding r when I reboot but I dont know what to do now. When I hold power to turn it all the way off then restart it shows sony computer entertainment, but then it freezes, WTF?!! Please, please help. Im at my moms right now so im aloud on the computer for now. but when i get back to my dads im not aloud, so i need help quick! |

Points: 350.05 Donate | | | All you have to do is unzip the .rco file from the .rar file you downloaded and put it on. But when you say 3.01 OE, what do you mean? There's no such firmware as that.
If you mean 3.10 OE, you're in luck - there's a way to flash file straight to your flash via USB. Just go into 'Advanced' on the Recovery menu, then enable 'Toggle USB (flash0). You can now browse through you're PSP's system files - but DO NOT DELETE, MOVE, OR MODIFY ANYTHING. The only thing you should do here is to find the .rco you put on, delete it, and put the unzipped one on. |
