flash1 question and other removals

i just want to know what flash1 is used for. because i know most of what flash0 is. also that, if anyone know how to remove the "about psp (playstation portable)" from "system settings," and that, would it will brick the psp, and how much size it will take off.
also the "Dynamic Normalizer," some or all of the "visual player." or other crap that can be removed from flash without brick.

i have used many of the flash remover programs, but i want more space for flash0. i am using a 310oe but i do not wan to use any other version. i know that some of the other oe have more space for flash1 but i want to keep 310oe.

thanks.......

It's used for various system settings.

also that, if anyone know how to remove the "about psp (playstation portable)" from "system settings," and that, would it will brick the psp, and how much size it will take off. also the "Dynamic Normalizer," some or all of the "visual player." or other crap that can be removed from flash without brick.
I haven't been here in a while but to my knowledge, you can't remove individual sub-menus.

i have used many of the flash remover programs, but i want more space for flash0. i am using a 310oe but i do not wan to use any other version. i know that some of the other oe have more space for flash1 but i want to keep 310oe.
Read THIS, and read it carefully. Neither PSP3d nor myself will be responsible in any way if you damage your PSP.

thanks.......
No problem

Use Flash Agent to redirect it to PSP3D and use RCO Editor 1.10 to rename it to PSP3D and possibly change the icon to one that indicates it is PSP3D as well.

YEa the FLASH1 is really used for the registry stuff and other system settings onthe PSP. Other stuff that u can remove from the PSP flash0 w/out bricking is found here ~ Guide to freeing Flash0 space on all OE firmwares ~ - PSP™ General - PlayStation.com Forums. And this works on all OE FWs to free space.

In short, flash0 is more for customization of the XMB and flash0 is registry & system stuff. You can free the space up like Gamer420 said (By replacing system files with empty ones with the same name - dummy files) But there is absolutely nothing in my knowledge that can be useful in modifying flash1.
Warning: Before you modify anything whatsoever, back-up your flash0 and flash1 on your psp incase you semi-brick and need to use recovery.
