Points: 3.42 Donate | | | I disagree with his statements. Homebrew is SAVING the PSP. I would of probably gotten way bored with my PSP by now if it weren't for it. If Sony would release a homebrew allowing firmware, that blocked ISO's and gave us limited kernel mode, this situation would be a heck of a lot better.

No you're right though. In fact homebrew has most likely boosted PSP sales. Honestly, what does the PSP have going for it's self without homebrew? Not much, that's what. |

Points: 23.42 Donate | | Yeh that guy contradicts himself 10 too many times. "I love the homebrew community" after the sole purpose of his article is to bit** about how it is "ruining the psp". I call bullsh**. Homebrew and psp hackers have done a great thing. They turned trash into treasure. I mean honestly, would you have spent $200 for a console that plays very poor quality games as well as poor video format choices. The wifi is nice, I can now fill up a gig stick without so much as touching a pc  . But would you pay $200 for internet? For that price get a cheap laptop or a palm. Now of course you would pay $200 if you could play the games for free, emulate other systems within the psp, play classic ports of your favorite games, and more. (As you can tell I haven't owned a psp for almost 6+ months) The homebrew alone has perked buyers much more than any sony corp ad. As bad as it sounds on the other side of the door, homebrew has helped sony in every possible way.
Also on a side note: I had to get rid of my old psp because the buttons were screwed up, took me a few months but I finally got my hands on one. My brother got a slim (Yeah I know, that bas****. lol) so I got his old one which was actually quite new. So yeah I'm back   | |
