| | | | PSP Bricked? Hi, I've been using my PSP for quite sometime (when PSP was 1.50) and I upgraded from 2.50 to 150, then onto 3.03 OE-C, and been quite happy with it. But Today, just now, I put the Cheatdevice VCS Into my PSP's SEplugins seeing if it would boot up VCS since it didn't work with Devhook, and my PSP shut off, i'm guessing that's what happened, and when I turn it back on, the backlight would go on, but it would shut off before the SCE logo or XMB menu coming on. It would do that everytime i turn it on. I can get into recover with the R trigger, but not the XMB. Any ideas? |

Just use the recovery file that I stated on here in this forum and put the data.drax file or wat ever it is called that you used for 3.03 OE-C and put it in the same folder as the recovery folder that I stated in this thread here: http://psp3d.com/getting-started-hel...-problems.html. I forget wher but some in there I posted the recovery thing you can use to reflash the 3.03 OE-C if you have the data.dxar file. I can't provide a link to the file since it is illegal to do so. But either sometime tomorrow when I get on my other computer I can upload another recovery file similar to that one and you can downgrade it back 1.5 FW. Either way it should work! O wait nvm here you go here is the file for the 1.5 downgrade just follow the same instructions as I said on the other forum but instead of putting the data.dxar file in w/ it just use the folder i provided and put the 1.5 eboot in w/ it but rename it to "update". It should downgrade it back to 1.5 for you.

- But if you don't know how to do that, or it doesn't work, try...
- Delete the files from your Memory Stick. The Recovery Mode has a USB option.
That should work, but if it doesn't, Gamer has it all in his post. |
