| | Member | | | | 2.71 update help ok, sorry this probably sounds really dumb, but i used to have a custom firmware and everything but for somereason i downgraded and upgraded to normal 2.6 firmware. Now i want to downgrade again. So, i figured the easiest thing to do was update to 2.71 and use the 2.71 easy downgrader. well... i cnt update up to 2.71 because the eboot file doesnt show up on my psp. I am supposed to make an UPDATE folder right? and then access the file under games on my psp right?? Please Help. |

Oh, and does the easy 2.71 downgrade require gta lcs?

| | | | Same prob as Spriteking. Hi guys, um i'm having the same problem as spriteking, but can't seem to get the 2.71 update running. My psp was originally a 2.71 ta-082 and have gone 1.5>3.40 0E-A. After having problems i went back to 1.5 and after using my GTA LCS UMD, i'm at 2.60. I've tried putting the 2.71EBOOT in PSP\GAME\UPDATE, but i goto the game menu, and it says its a corrupted file. I've also renamed the file as UPDATE.PBP and the original 8046_EBOOT.PBP. (both times it's come up as corrupted file). Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers!
