If you want to keep homebrew/ISO capabilities on your PSP, then don't use official firmware updates. All updates on UMD discs will take away ALL homebrew/ISO capability, and getting it back will be a nightmare. What you need to use are custom firmware updates, as theaceoffire's guide will show you.

(But we can't discuss running ISOs on this forum - it's in the rules.)
