Nice...

thanks for this, it looks pretty good. I haven't been on here in over a year and its nice to see a bit of actual content still around. The other threads look utterly terrible. Anyone wanna explain what happened?

This isn't a real tutorial. It's a spambot posting crap. The software is a possible virus/security threat to any computer that tries to load it.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE FROM THIS OR ANY OTHER THREAD LIKE THIS!

And as for what happened to PSP3d, a lot of the developers left the site and now it's just what I like to call the key personnel or the skeleton crew. Keep in mind, this didn't happen over night.

Yeah, it's been happening slowly for the past year or so. No one noticed at first, but then we noticed, and before we knew it it was just us.

ohh....

it seems like it. when i noticed, I left for about 2 years. I visited the homepage though and read that but for 2 years no activity. when my account wasn't deleted, I knew they were really lazy still. I used to love this site though, thats why I am giving it another chance. I think that this post system is terrible though, thats one of the reasons it turned to be such a lame site. I like the NLO forums (linked in my sig) where they have rep points that you get when other people enjoy or dislike what you post. Its a much better system and promotes good posting habits while punishing the people that have bad habits till they learn. The rules on here are also pretty restrictive.

Systems like that can easily be abused. But I like the idea. PM Robert and see what he says. And the site is what it is now, we have to make the best of it. If you know any one who left, have them drop in and say hello every once and a while.

And the rules aren't that bad... They basically say, don't talk about illegal stuff, don't spam, and be nice.

I can't curse on the forums and the forums system can't be abused. If you haven't received enough good rep, you can't give anyone any points when you give them rep. you also can't cause them to lose points from neg rep unless you have enough positive rep. It makes a lot of sense and works better than this system of points. It causes people to want to make more/longer posts that lack true content or are filler.

It's pretty much the same rules no matter where you go.

EDIT: I have never been on a forum with the reputation system turned on.
