is the psp still alive?

a few months ago, i would read about all of these new games that were soon to be released for psp. as the pandora battery was released, more and more people are getting in to modding their psp's and running iso's. now i still hear of games coming out for the ds, but none for the psp. is the psp a dead system now because of pirating?

when i got my psp i was barely 13, and downloaded games because i had no money. now that i have a job im buying all the games i can that ive downloaded before to support the people i couldnt before. im afraid that there arent people paying back their debts to the game companies though.

heres to a psp-2 that doesnt get hacked for a long time, or that like the ps3 is allowed small homebrew applications to kill out some of the drive to hack it.

I can't be dead yet, but I do see your point.

i disagree, i think it is just a slump. i have been checking out homebrew apps and games. personally i think there have not been any exciting releases for my gaming tastes.

I know it sounds weird, but I didn't buy my PSPs for the games. I've got several Nintendo consoles for that, and I prefer Nintendo games. That's just my preference, I'm not saying Sony's bad or anything. But anyway, I bought them for the hacking scene, and the cool apps. I'm hoping the PSP-3000 will revive the hacking scene by blocking Pandora, though.

Well, I think it might be. I can't seam to find any games that interest me anymore. Oh yeah, and I did like the old hacking scene, before every new update constantly was getting hacked.
