Hi,
i'm very dissapoined with my new psp. I hate theese things about it:
1. Very few games, at this time.
2. Very expensive memory sticks (fuck sony) why they dont want to support CF and Microdrives? They are bigger an cheaper.
3. I hate using 2.01 firmware. I can't run any of theese cool hombrew. Why sony don't allow to run 3rd party software? Or why they don't have better support for cool programs? I want more than play mp3, view pictures and play expensive UMD games and movies.
4. WHY THERE ARE NO PLAYABLE DEMOS??? I want download playable demo and play it before i buy game. Hello sony!!! Where are they?
5. I conect PSP with my PS2, and nothing happend. Damn!! I want use PSP as a another gamepad, or as another memory for PS2. Not only for PS3.
6. Mp3 player Picture viewer.. they have only very basic functions. :-(
7. Where is file manager? Oh there isn't any :-(
8. No flash backup, good for sony, if you brick psp, you must buy another one. Some shops will accept your warranty. But not all. :-(
9. Very Very Very slow display
10. FUCK UMD, why PSP don't have minidics and 8cm dvd player? (because piracy?)

I hope sony will do something with that. Maybe with next firmware i hope i hope i hope.

take it back to bestbuy, get your money back, and put the money into something more advanced like an xbox360.

what the hell was the point of buying it in the first place if your so unhappy with it?

didnt u read ANY of the psp sites before you bought the thing, explaining what you could and couldnt do with the newer firmware, and the product specs?

sony said it only used memory stick pro duo, if u didnt like it, dont buy it

ever thought of checking the pricing of games before you buy the system?

and anyway, sonys gonna start making a sort of "greatest hits" line for the psp, where the games will be 20 instead of 40 or 50.

I was dissapointed before i bought my PSP. I expected more from sony. Not only another average good looking portable device. I think only hombrew is what makes PSP so good at this moment!!! Not sony with that support. If you buy new psp, you get PSP and a demo disc. You can't play any game!!! No demos, no nothing. But still is hope in my heart. Thats why i bought PSP.

yeah really with the demo disc i expected to at least get to play some demos. but all in all, the psp isnt so bad. except for the fact that i have 2.5

you know they do have memory stick readers for the psp that do support other/cheaper memory cards dont u? Just buy that and then get the cheaper stick.

What you talking bout dude!! The PSP rocks!! - All in all its a hand held games machine! the other stuff are just a bonus, buy an ipod for that stuff!!
Originally I wasn't going to bother with a PSP until I managed to get hold of 2 to sell on (shortage in the uk) after days of nagging my brother convinced me to open one, I was so impressed I had to have one also! Look at hand helds in the passed and it knocks the pants off them! superior graphics and more importantly some "real" games! not some mini game that takes about 10 minutes to complete, but games you even play when you are sitting in your bedroom with your latest Pc games :- not something that just passes the time in the car while your on your way to see aunt bessie for Christmas dinner lol.
Give it a chance dude! and get some games like Gta, Socom, Pro Evo Soccer, Tony hawks, Burnout and im sure your opinion will change.

best handheld console i have seen and u should forget about homebrew and stuff did sony ever say that was part off the psp (even tho i would love it 2) but be real
