I only have a P111 866 besides my Apple Powerbook, so Transcoding takes a fair bit of time.
Can I ask for a small Video file of say 3 to 5 min that works on your PSP 2.5, to confirm that there is not something wrong with mine?
Ta
Ok, Tried PSP Video nine.... first copied the movie... wrong folder.
Then re-copied the movie right folder. Can see the movie, and start to play it not even 20seconds into the file the PSP goes to either stop and warns you file cannot be playd. but 2 out of 3 time just crashes to a dead halt... no buttons operate and nothing will turn it of. have to remove the battery...
You think it is stuffed??

I have tried every setting, I am taking my PSP in today, and testing the video on another system.
I am taking a normal 10min mpg file, and tried it to MP4 and AVC.
If they play the play for a few second then just hangs....

try diffrent video files not the same one.. it may be a corrupted source file..
Try diffrent files then post back if same problem occurs..

think I found the Problem.... and am I upset ...
It must be the memory card.... this is the second one that I have bought from the Same people... and it is a Sony 1gig 80mb/s card....
First one did not write at all
This one reads and writes no problem, but there is an access problem I am sure.
Did try what was suggested, I tried many different files. But this morning, Changed the cable that I sync with and also put back the standard 32MB memstick in and it work first time
Went to another gaming store and they gave me their stick there videos ran great.... must be the stick
Hopefulle get it exchanged tommorow and go for SANDISK
Cheers for the help. Will keep you posted on the development on the new card....
Cheers
