Ok, I have read all the threads and all the sticky FAQ's etc. and I am thouroughly confused maybe its my ADD but all I want to do is play ripped/ISO games USA and JAP region free. Can someone help me and just list the basic things I need to install or haxor my PSP. I know I need to downgrade to 1.5 cuz I have 2.0 so whats next...

And one more question how do I get better quality from my movie rips from my DVD I am using ImTOO DVD ripper PSP and the movies come out soft. I made sure all the seetings were as high as they could go but the movies are still soft/blury.

if you need a brief here it is. downloads can all be found at pspcrack

1. downgrade using MPH downgrader TIFF exploit
2. install UMD Emulator 0.08c
3. put ISO's in correct folders of memory stick (use readme that comes with UMD emulator
4. go to UMD Emulator, insert any UMD (even movies), and then select the game of your choice
5. Your game should be up and running.

Use www.downgrade.info to tell you what to do when downgrading. Its easy and has step by step instructions

Cool things are starting to work. I am using fastloader and so far so good. UMD emulator doesnt seem to work though any ideas. I installed it 2 times on my PSP and no results. When I play the iso it crashes. I can change settings but that is about it. Also the bottom menu becomes unreadable.

One more question. I have a backed up game but it isnt and ISO. It just has a dir with game name then PSP and then sub directories. Any ideas on how to get this one running?
