Points: 1.55 Donate | | | Dust Behind Screen.. At first they looked like lit dead pixels..but when i turned off the screen, they were still there. Warranties done, can't exchange it..and its going to cost me 172 bucks CAD to get it fixed. Im really thinking about opening the fucking thing and using one of those cans of compressed air to get rid of everyting, then putting the faceplate back on. I just dont know how dust and shit got back in there to begin with, i keep it in the playgear case at all times..im so pissed.. and they're noticeable too its not like i can tsee them.. |

Points: 1.55 Donate | | | yeh the dust sticks to the rubber inlays, then i guess it falls in the cracks of the horribly built thing. its not an issue of the screen, its whats behind it, i have to void my warranty and open the fuckign thing..theres no other solution, i just tried blasting compressed air down the cracks and along the sides but it isnt working...im afraid ill break the damn thing and then im really screwed... |

Points: 1.55 Donate | | | im a bit of a perfectionist, my eye just picks out the dust and fine scratches instantly like a sore thumb, thats something i cant control,, when playing socom, i just see the frickin dot, and itpisses me off, you're right tho, i guess i can just live with it, maybe itll eventually fall off, its just dust stuck right? if i heat the screen up and cool it down repeatedly maybe the dust will fall...or the screen will crack whichever one happens first. |

Points: 1.55 Donate | | | so im guessing theres no soolution then...i fucking hate sony, i call them about this and they read excerpts from the manual like im a fuckign moron. god forbid they tighteend the screws on the fucking device a little more so that dust wouldnt fall thru the cracks. |
