Help please mp4 2 psp

first off i will say thanks to all who reply and thanks to site admin you guys rock great site.newbie to site please help how do i put mp4 onto psp lets say like famly guy mp4 how do i convert to put onto the psp thanks

Rename the file and possibly the THM to M4V#####, replace # with the id you want for the vid. But remember that it has to contain that many numbers for it to work.
Then just move them to X:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01
Where X is your PSP.

no its i am loading on to into the psp mp_root you said but it does not detect it you said about thm this file just has a thumb nail no thm what ever that is i been using RaPiZ PSP Sync for my dvd but it just takes to long but it does all the hard work my psp is a jap import verison 1.5 is this the cause of the problem

will not detect it without a .thm
And the theme has to be names same as the mp4 file except the .mp4 and .thm

You dont have to have a .thm file for the MP4 to work, As long as the filename is in the M4VXXXXX format it will play.

i need help aswell, when i try to copy pmp file to my /Video folder it keeps getting stcuk half way , saying it cant be read, destination folder doesnt work and all stuff like this

plz help, still does not work

I've tried renaming my mp4 file to M4V00000.mp4 and also tried loading the .thm (renamed it also to M4V00000.thm) and still my PSP still say "there are no videos" i have a PSP 2.5. please help

Ok people I had the same problem but I got this thing called psp video manager and it puts it in the right folder automactically and then it worked.
