Help Plz

Ok I just got my psp so im new to all of this but on a v1.52 PSP can you not put music, photos and videos on it? When I hook my psp up to my usb chord and go to my PSP file on my computer all I see inside the psp folder is a game folder, I dont see Photo, music, or a video folder. I tried to create my own but that didnt work, so what am I supposed to do?

_-_ <=== upside-down Asian guy

anyways...

next to GAME, create a "photo" and "music" folder.
put photos and music there.....

Video is more complicated...

This is a guide I copied from http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-11721-1725-x-x-x i copied it cuz they overcomplicate the converter thing

First, you'll need to create a new directory in the root folder of your memory stick called "MP_ROOT." You'll then need to create a "100MNV01" directory inside the MP_ROOT directory. You'll put your video files in this 100MNV01 directory

But wait, before you go copying over files, they need to be named properly! Video files must be named in the format of M4Vxxxxx.MP4 where "xxxxx" is any five-digit number, like 00001 or 01323. The converter will also create a file with the extension THM. The THM file is a thumbnail image of your video that will show up in the PSP's menu to make it easier to browse videos, but you have to name the THM file to match your newly renamed video file. So if you're renaming "that guy gets kicked down the stairs and falls on his face.MP4" to "M4V00006.MP4," you'll also need to rename "that guy gets kicked down the stairs and falls on his face.THM" to "M4V00006.THM" for it to still work.

go to www.pspvideo9.com to download free software to convert movies into .mp4 format to play on psp, the converter that the guide mentions sucks...

and... for games....
this last part is a little... sticky.... you dont have to do it, and dont blame me if the downgrade messes up ur psp

find a 2.0 update for ur psp, try the downloads section @ www.pspupdates.com

now, use the 2.0 to 1.5 downgrader, which is famous and not hard to find

and now you can put games into the games folder, just copy the GAME and GAME% folders you downloaded into "Games"

now be happy as PIE

Ok I am downgrading right now and heres where im at: - Copy h.bin in root of your memory stick
- Copy index.dat in root of your memory stick
- Plug the AC adaptor

Then, enter in VSHELL PHOTO MENU, this will launch Version Changer.

Create an USB connection and if the Version Changer has been installed, a new file is created in your root of your memory stick (ms0:/index.dat.bak).

Then go to VSHELL GAME MENU and launch 1.50 update.

Ok I have no clue what to do here. Where is the root of my memory stick?
