Hello, I bought a usb wifi dongle so that i could connect to my pc from my PSP but I am having problems. Anyone know how to set the dongle up as access point ?

Points: 0.34 Donate | | When I set up in ad-hoc mode it just scans constantly, when I set it up in Infrastucture mode it just wants to connect to my neighbours wireless connection, doesn't pick up the PSP.The PSP won't pickup the usb dongle. No matter what I do, I think it is because it isn't a access point. I find this slightly confusing because on the box it says can be used to create WLAN. I think I will just go and by a WIFI-MAX. Gullaby me
yes it quite clearly says 802.11b on the Adaptor and on the box and in the device description in device manager. Every where I read, it says that the PSP is 802.11b compatible. I am starting to think it is a software issue maybe upgrading might fix, don't want to do that yet.
