HI

sorry for my poor english , i am french
and Sorry to disturb you but i have a question
i wanna buy a psp
i wanna play divx and emulate snes game, listen mp3, "use psp like computer"...
i understand only psp with firmware 1.5 can play it and the 2.5 can not read anythink
everywhere i search, i find : psp3d.com.
so i come on your web site. I see firmware 2.6 ??
what is it ? sony firmware is 2.5 isn't it ?
explain me please
i think it's may be explain on your site but english is difficult for me
and for the last : what psp it's ok for me ?

Okay yes, 1.5 can use homebrew, 2.0 can do some with the help of a loader and 2.0 can be downgraded to 1.5.

2.6 is the latest version, and people are working hard right now to exploit 2.5

ok thanks if i understand :
fw 1.5 is good
only fw 2.0 can downgrade to 1.5 version
and 2.5 cannot downgradable to 1.5
2.6 fw cannot downgradable to 1.5
so if i wanna buy psp to use it same as computer (mp3,divx....)
i must buy a 1.5 or 2.0 psp fw 's version isn't it ?

White color is 2.0 and higher. You can always get a 2.0 PSP and downgrade with MPH's downgrader to 1.5.
