i have socom and gta retail umds. both require updating to 2.0, but i want to stay with 1.5fw. is there anyway to fool these games into thinking that i am running 2.0fw?

Nope sorry you cant play 2.00fw games on a 1.50fw

Just update, Then downgrade again or use the 2.00 eboot loader.

this has been covered so much,

there are ways yoiu can play certain 2.0+ games without upgrading, but not those 2 atm

what about the mph firmware launcher. how well does that work? its my understanding that it will allow you to run 2.5fw without having to flash to it. so this would allow full access to a web browser and ability to run 2.0+ games?

I think the browser runs but games don't! This launcher is like an emulator. Not everything works with an emulator!
