| | | | PSP GPS - More Details Emerge A leaked copy of the March edition of PlayStation Magazine details new features planed for the PSP. The package will include the GPS device, which attaches via the USB slot, as well as a UMD that contains the navigation software. Future upgrades and new maps will be distributed via new UMD's, at an additional cost. No details on the release date or price were made available.
We will be keeping our eyes open for this leaked copy to bring you additional detail.

Points: 6.48 Donate | | | I really dont see why new maps would be distributed via UMD. Also, wouldnt this require wifi to work? So if your driving around everywhere, how would this work? Im sorry I have no idea how GPS works, Ive never used one or something that incorporates it. |

u think some one in the middle of the ocean using a gps for navigation is using a hotspot to get his bearings

The device on the psp will contact noumerous satalites in space that will point out you position on the planet. so with the use of the map you can see where you are. it doesn't matter where you are.. you can be in the himalaya or in the middle of the dessert it workd trough satalite and no wifi or hotspot is needed...  | |
