Hi i bought a psp 1000 (japan)

and when i have looked at system software it says version 7.50

i have tryd 2 update and downgrade but all i keep getting is the message

A later version of the system software is allready installed.
there is no need to update.

any help would be good

7.50?? dont ya mean 2.5 or 1.5?

You will need to download SXT Version changer to lower it back down to 1.5. It seems as someone used it to raise it to 7.5.

no i'm looking at it now it says 7.50.

and on the box it has psp-1000 ceramic white giga pack.

I think thats the model number. Look under the barcode thingy on the bottom of your psp at the end. Mine says psp1000

Yeah psp 1000 just means its a jap psp (which are the best for UK buyers)
Better screen and its region 2...

You will see that for each psp there is a white sticker on the bottom left of EVERY PSP which indicates where its from. Google this im sure you will find out more info about it, thats if u wanted.

Haha, seems as though you got a used PSP. Somebody used SXT Version Changer on it! You need that to switch it back.
