After getting a 2.5 psp from a Best Buy a little over a month ago I was pretty annoyed that it wasn't a 2.0 or lower. Over the weekend I went to one of the most ghetto K-Marts in my area to see what firmware versions they had (think about it, are you going to buy a $250 psp from a broke down ghetto ass K-Mart) and sure enough the letter on the outside of the box was a C which was 1.52 (they had like 4, all were C's). I bought the psp, took it home and heated up the sticker on the box with a heat gun so I could peel it off easier. I then took the psp out and switched the serial number stickers as well. I wiped down my old psp so it looked brand new, packaged it up and resealed the box. Had no problems taking it back the next day as it looked like it was never open. I am now enjoying all of the homebrew I can get on my 1.5. |
