It's got instructions in their help file but they can be a lil confusing.
What you need is the firmware that u wanna emulate put into the root directory of your PSP after u install the BFMLoader like u would ne other 1.0/1.5 homebrew.

Then just take the firmware dump(they got a link to a 1.0 and a 1.0 debug thats included in the txt file and tells u how to create your own firmware dump from any firmware eboot update using different applications.

So lets say u got 1.5 and wanna emulate 1.0. Download the 1.0 firmware dump then put the contents of the 2 directories on the root of your memory stick. It'll ask u to overwrite some folders cause theres some same-named ones in both the folders in the 1.0 firmware dump zip file, that's fine. Then after its copied to the root then simply run the BFMLoader homebrew and it'll take you back to the system menu and you'll have 1.0 instead of 1.5 til u restart your PSP or try to load certain things'll just take you back to your real firmware. It runs firmware like it would a ISO.

This won't work to load GTA or the 2.0 web browser but if u manage to create your own 2.5 firmware dump the location free player on there works emulated. So you can try out that 2.5 feature on your 1.5 PSP with this.

I'm not quite sure whatcha mean R3X. If you have firmware 1.5 you can use this thing to emulate other firmwares like 2.5 so that you can use the Location Player(i never actualy tried this thing lol) but it only works if your psp already has 1.5 firmware or 2.0 then u can downgrade to use it(if u want i downgraded just to try it out, it was neat but it aint worth downgrading if this is all ur downgrading for IMO but it is neat)

If you got 2.5 firmware on ur psp right now the only thing there is to do is wait for a real downgrader to come out for 2.5 or 2.6. It might take a little while but they'll get it eventually but I'd wait til it's been verified to work and is reversable before I'd try it out
