Yes, you read that right! Microsoft is currently working on a portable gaming system! Many gamers have dreamed of a Microsoft handheld release while other have cringed at the thought. Regardless of your stance on the matter; Know that it is coming!
Video has surfaced on the web that displays a concept model of the system in action. The unit is seen being used to play music, doodle, surf the web and, best of all, PLAY HALO! It is apparent that the unit is not solely focused on the gaming market but rather aimed at being a complete portable media center. This would not only be competition for Sony and Nintendo's handheld systems but, competition for the Apple iPod as well.
What glares about the unit at first look is it's seemingly massive size compared to the PSP and DS Lite. Well, don't get your boxers in a bunch just yet! The video is at least a year old and the device shown is only a concept. You can bet that "Origami" will be slim and toned come game time.
