Talking Mobo swap.

Hello everyone at PSP3D forum!
I’m happy to share with you guys, that I just got a brand new psp, never even been turned on, for hundred bucks (can’t miss a chance like that) ! This will be my second psp. So when I turned it I was really disappointed ! Guess why…….........wtf ……………….. of course, fw 2.5! Damn it, now I’m stuck with two of them, lol! But it’s ok, since there is no warranty on it (I got it for hundred bucks remember!!!!), I bought another motherboard of an ebay , the seller stated that mobo can have from 1.5 to 2.0 fw on it (yummy)!!! And he also said that all the items he sells are brand new, I don’t know how believable that cold be, but he has 100% positive feedback.
So here is my plan, to do a motherboard transplant surgery !!! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not that n00bish, I know a little about electronics, plus some soldering skills, you know basic stuff like that, not bad for a guy who cooks for living, lol !
Yes, so I just wanted to know if any of you had done something like that. Maybe some useful tips, hidden surprises, and online links to some tutorials. I have watched a couple of LCD display replacement movies, couldn’t find anything about motherboards.
Overall it look all easy, correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you for reading my post (I hope I wasn’t too annoying)!
Feedback appreciated!!!
PSP3D is the best site ever!

Ive got one tip for ya. when you push the clips down that hold the ribbon for the screen in place, dont push it down in the middle cos that could break the clip off. push it down on one (Or both) of the sides.
