lack of everything

I dont know about you guys, but since christmas there just seems to be a lack of any purchasable games out for the psp, i mean whats going on? there is more going on in the homebrew scene the the corporate side.

Any one know of anything good (and not rumors but facts) due to come out? Game or hardware wise for the psp?

The funny thing is, Sony knows the PSP is living due to homebrew. My friend at Sony states "...without homebrew, people would have given up on the PSP a long time ago."

He also said Sony really doesn't care for homebrew, they're cool with that, but what they DO care for is potential illegal activity, such as ISO loading. But I think we all knew that.

im still surprised at the lack of games launched for it, Im not sure if you would say thats down to sony, as they dont produce the games, but im also surprised at the lack of software/hardware. The potential of the psp is massive, but due to profits and losses i dont think we are going to see as much as we would of first hoped.

Id love to see some simple yet effective things launched like

pop 3 email reader
Voip Telephony
Gps
external keyboard (along with aps such as word, excel, dictionarys

The thing is Syphon Filter is probably goign to rock but its goign to initially cost 60$...and I cannot affor high price tags like that........
The keybaord with a word processor and an email app would be nice, I'd definately buy that....even it that was 60$ so long as it works with the browser and doesn't require a new firmware..
