Ok well if you read my other post you can see that my psp has a problem. Ever time i turn it off and on it losed the background. So should i upgrade to 2.6 for 2.5 or should i wait a while bcuz there might be a downgrader. Does 2.5 and 2.6 have the same security settings??

There wont be a downgrader for some time, if at all. Also, if there was a downgrader it would arrive significantly quicker for those of us with 2.5 than 2.6. You can expect to wait a long long time for a 2.6 downgrader, especially since we now have so much homebrew support on 2.01+ people just arent really working on one because it isn't deemed to be quite as important anymore.

If you have 1.50 then update to 2.00 and downgrade again.
If you have 2.00 then just downgrade to 1.50.
If you have 2.01+ then upgrade to whatever you want.
