ok i have connected to this access point before and my connection says 85%, But when i do it it says connection error has occured. A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the network and try again.
And when i have my psp scan the connection, it says it has no security, and it has never had security before it seems as though it has not changed in any way. Yet it does not work. Could anybody offer me some help?

Check the DNS server.

If its not working properly go to your command prompt and type -
ipconfit/dnsrenew

ipconfig /dnsrenew (damn typo's)

but yeah, check the connection settings on your psp also

well i dont really want to mess with the dns server at all cuz my parents run it and i dont know much about it so what can i do from the psp?

go into the connection settings and take a look. If they run it, maybe get them to help you.
