right just wanna say a few things and get your feedback,
i now havw my 1.5 and 2.6 psp
and it seems as though the 2.01+ is getting more attention than the trusty 1.5.
why is no one trying to make an update for the 1.5 so we can run all the apps right of the main menu.
for example make the divx player part of the firmware make a whole new firmware same look but more options, also it seems as though everything has slowed down on the 1.5 side of things,
it might be me but thats how it feels,
like your views and please no slagging of or moaning. |

i mean there is more potential for 1.5 than 2.01+ i mean i love my 2.6 as well, but i think a 1.5 with 2.6 abilitys would be great. i would love to turn on my psp 1.5 and have all the options of the 2.6. |

I bought a 1.5 because at the time, I thought I'd keep the 2.6 for upgrading with Sony's latest firware and playing my UMD games and films, and use the 1.5 for emulation. However, the Beta eLoader came out before the 1.5 arrived on my doorstep and since then I have only used the 1.5 twice! Infact I'm trying to sell the 1.5 because it's just no use to me. I am sure developers etc will have hours of fun with it, but if I was asked to sell the 1.5 and the 2.6, I could give you a list as long as your arm for the 2.6 .... but not seem anything other than UMD emulation worth while (in my opinion - ie/ for me!). Not saying there isn't anything but not what I need. I'm getting rid of the 1.5.

Points: 3.06 Donate | | | i personaly think more and more ppl are getting exposed to the psp, but are still going through the learning curve, im pretty sure ,given time you will see alot of kewl stuff for all psp's
it's a bit of a wierd side step for convensional coders to swing thier mindset to the MIPS way of doing things,,, given all the constraints they have to face aswell, once the constraints have been removed and a few more ide's are let loose.. maybe a cracked Codewarrior.. u will see some nice develpments...
i think the fundemental thing ppl are forgetting is there is no difffernce to the hardware acrhitecture of 1.5 and the 2.5/6 3.... so theoreticaly anything that a 2.6 can do a 1.5 will be able to do with the right libraryies,,
