I dont care if i get flamed by others but please can you respectable (you know who you are) hackers please work on a downgrader. I dont even think Fanjita has looked into it.... has he? .... there so much i want to be able to do with a psp on fw 1.5. and im not talking about running iso's etc. stuff like this

God id love to use applications like that.

I really hope someone comes up with something soon, i have fw 2.01... i bought it from my local argos not knowing i was going to be restricted to what i can with it. Actually at the time i didnt even know about fw versions (ignorance is bliss eh...)

So anyway, yeah ISO's would be nice but its those clever little apps i like. the IR remotes / using homebrew without having to start up gta everytime and the one i pointed out above.

Fanjita, im from Newcastle, id personally get my ass up the road to scotland and bring you a crate of Brown Ale (for you americans, Newcastle is the home of the stuff)

Fanjita said he wouldnt make a downgrader. It's not that it has just slipped his mind, he doesnt see any reason to do it as we have so much homebrew support for 2.01+ and because most people who want a downgrader want to play illegal ISO's which is both morally and lawfully wrong, whichever way you try to justify it. People are already working on a downgrader but to be honest I dont think anything will come of it.

Well this post wont help, And yes fanjita has looked into a downgrader (First thing he did) and so are others, just use the gta loader it has lots of compatable homebrew.

By the way, I got my psp from argos aswel LOL

I see what your saying Onyx7, but the GTA homebrew cannot play the 2 things i said, granted the IR remote will probs come soon, but what about this..

Is that possible with the eboot loader?

Fanjita said that version 2.01 was chance to be able to downgrade a while ago. i just get the feeling his efforts are in the eboot loader and not downgrading.

Dont get me wrong, he is a top guy, and i really appreciate the doors he has opened for me to experience homebrew, but the reality of always having to load GTA prior to any homebrew... then if it crashes and you go through the whole thing again...... i hate it:P

I feel sorry for the people who have tested the eboots with GTA, they must have gone mental with hearing the same startup everytime.

Anyway, this is just in General Discussion, just abit chat between ppl :P , i have faith fanjita could do it if he tried.

I really wish i could understand coding / hacking / making shit work. Im dyslexic anyway so im fooked when it comes to code etc, trust me, ive tried to learn and reading the tutorials is hard enough.
