Yes i searched this
I recently dled setx for my 2.0 and it says that u can play 2.6 games if u trick ur psp into thinking its 2.6, well my question is this.. does mlb 06 work with this trick, cuz i dont want to buy it for nothing

no i dont think it needs 2.60 i think the highest firmware required on any game is 2.50

i took my psp back to target with receit with everything and told them i want a new one if they ask if something is wrong say no and u only want a differnt firmware thats what i did and it worked i checked the side for the infamous c and got it, it was a 2.00 and downgraded  thanks MPH |

And wen i try to change my fw to 3.0 it just changes to 2.5, is this known prob or just for me?

Points: 1.94 Donate | | | MLB 06: The Show will only work if you downgrade to 1.5 and use the mph gameloader to run the UMD. the setx wont work, sorry.
You might actually have to rip it to iso and decrypt the prx files
MLB 06: The Show - Replace PRX files with Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Story's decrypted PRX files.
But i'm unsure about the UMD.
