Lightbulb Something interesting... (Tiff)

Found this at http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/17730/exploit

It's a "LibTiff Multiple Denial of Service Proof Of Concept"
What's interesting is.. it freezes my psp, which is on 2.70, and it probably works on 2.01+.

I've attached a Rar file, so feel free to look at it.
Just extract the folder named "Tiff" into the photo folder of your PSP and view it. Watch it freeze and shut off after 10 seconds or so.
Should work for you too... Whomever has a 2.7.
This is just general PSP stuff.

Yep...

Well, what I find interesting about it is that it has an affect on the PSP...

Which is just basically freezing it.
Unlike other so called "Hacks/exploits" I've seen, like that one fake Loco Roco exploit which is just a crash, this one might be possible to work off of... Somewhat like the Tiff overflow hack in 2.0.

But eh... I'd like to be corrected.
Just saying it won't work isn't enough. "Never" has been said before and proven to be incorrect.

Sadly, I don't think this will lead anywhere. We have plenty of TIFFs, JPGs, and PNGs that will freeze 2.XXs, but none of them can lead to code eecution on the PSP.

So you don't call this a crash? Seems like it is to me.
