A few weeks ago my lcd cracked on my psp and I got a replacement one. When I put it in the screen worked fine, butmy backlight didn't come on at all. So I ordered a new backlight, and it still doesn't come on. The psp appears to run fine aside from the backlight not coming on. I believe something may have gotten shorted. If any one with a multimeter could help me by figuring out what voltage (I think it's around 3.4v) the backlight takes, and what the pinouts are for the backlight I would greatly appreciate it. There appears to be 2 pins. I'm guessing one is for the power, and the other is a ground...? I tested both pins with the psp turned on and it seems like one of them is only carrying about .3v max... Or if someone has another idea on how I could fix this besides buying a new motherboard or sending it in I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
