devhook 0.44

Hi guys

Ive been using 041d for a while and never had any problems today i tried to install 0.44 and when i try and load 2.71 it keeps giving me the corrupt settings screen, when i press o as instructed it just reboots and gives the same currupt settings screen. What can i do about this?
