Oh... My... GOD... I never realised my sh1t tutorial could result in a brick... Im really sorry CoBrA9891...

EDIT: Here is a small glimmer of hope. You may be able to get into Recovery Mode by starting up your PSP, then very quickly flicking the switch down into HOLD. My tutorial was faulty there, I just said that you should flick it quickly down, and that could mean anything.

yeah, i plan on saving up for a modchip.... but the problem is that i have 0 experiance soldering... so i would have to send it in to some place and have them do it for me, and i heard thats like 100$ installation fee (wtf?!?!?) then about another $100 for the modchip...

but thats about 200$ for a new psp, or $200 for an unbrickable psp

so i think im gonna go with the modchip...

what you should have done is change the config to divert to psp\game\update\eboot.pbp bang a 2.0 eboot in there and run the updater but too late now sorry for the lateness, hope the modchip goes well

damnit, i didnt even think of that ><

that would have been a great idea to do if i just heard about it last night

i was also thinking last night that i could just install 1.5 to devhook and just use devhook forever... or boot to IRshell or something like that...

but all those ideas came too late...

modchips are good yes, but only if you know how to solder well and know what you are doing, I feel sorry for you and hope you can get it fixes!
