EDIT: Here is a small glimmer of hope. You may be able to get into Recovery Mode by starting up your PSP, then very quickly flicking the switch down into HOLD. My tutorial was faulty there, I just said that you should flick it quickly down, and that could mean anything.

that was one of the first things i tried when my psp wouldnt boot into 1.5.... |

Points: 4.74 Donate | | | yeah, i plan on saving up for a modchip.... but the problem is that i have 0 experiance soldering... so i would have to send it in to some place and have them do it for me, and i heard thats like 100$ installation fee (wtf?!?!?) then about another $100 for the modchip...
but thats about 200$ for a new psp, or $200 for an unbrickable psp
so i think im gonna go with the modchip... |

that would have been a great idea to do if i just heard about it last night
i was also thinking last night that i could just install 1.5 to devhook and just use devhook forever... or boot to IRshell or something like that...
but all those ideas came too late... |

exactly y im gonna send it in to www.modchipstore.com (unless any1 else knows any cheaper they charge $130 for installation) and have them install it for me... cuz i can guarentee i will screw up my psp if i even try... | |
