Unhappy PC connection problems

All of a sudden my psp does not connect to my pc properly. Instead of recognising it as a usb mass storage device windows just labels it as a usb device so i cannot transfer files. I tried uninstalling it in the control panel and installing the usb mass storage device driver for it but now i just get an error saying the device could not be started. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong? I have windows 2000 professional.

Windows 2000 is your problem. Error ridden like nuts, go for the XP upgrade (till Vista comes out)!

what service pack do you have? to find it out go Control Panel>System>System Settings>Hardware Information. That is not exact, but it should be close to it. I havn't been on windows 2000 in a couple of months, but I can still help.

If you ever wana play games again, dont get Vista. Just the GUI itself needs 64mb of video RAM
And try installing the latest updates and service packs....That might fix your PSP problem.
