Its alot harder to compile a source code than just running a simple app, you have to type everything perfect in command prompt, and get all the necessary libraries that it needs in order to compile, thats why it was so hard getting homebrew working on emulated 2.71, cuz it has to be set up perfect, and compiled perfect

I also want to learn Coding for P so I install CYGWIN...
yesterday at 7p.m. I started with install the toolchain,but it's not ready yet...is this normal?(I know my PC is very slow)

cygwin is harder to set up...i cant set up it
i think for the psp a good compiler is pspdev
the guide where to download and install it is:

and u will need the libraries so:

EDIT: but if u really want cygwin:

and badboy91 that is normal...some computers take 4 hours and other more time
mine taked 17hours and some ppl said that his computers taked 24hours!

EDIT2: with PSPDEV u dont need to install the psptoolchain coz comes with it
