Question Adhoc Problems

A friend an I have been trying to get adhoc to work between psp's but to no avail. No matter what the game or situation it always fails. I've tried it with both of us selecting the same channel and I've tried it on automatic a well but both give us the same error code 80410702. I can connect them to my computer individually through adhoc, but the psp's won't communicate with each other. Infrastructure works fine on both of them as well. One example was we were trying to play GTA:LCS and neither of us could HOST a game. It would say unable to establish connection to the host when either of us would try to host a multiplayer game. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you are running devhook, take it off 333mz mode. There are still some problems that haven't been fixed yet.

i have tried that as well. However it also does not work with the emulators that also support adhoc. I get that same error number.

Old topic of mine. Trying to revive it to see if anyone can give me any new information. I believe it is some type of hardware problem, but you would think that the infrastructure mode wouldn't work either, but it does... It's not a settings problem of that I am sure. If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it. I've scoured the internet for a solution and haven't come up with one.

damn straight its another sony conspiracy!

So the wlan works on both psp's but adhoc wont work? baffling!
The only thing i can tell you is make sure your not overclocking to 333mhz, that your in reasonable distance of each other, and the game is working properly. you know you can only connect via adhoc in-game right?
