Just did some flashing with the new X-Flash. Funniest thing happened (screenshots below). Most of the icons in the XMB Menu are just white boxes! All i did in X-Flash was change my wallpaper, and a few of the XMB labels (could this have done it?).
If anyone could shine some light on this matter it'd be much appreciated.
Also - In Dark_Alex's custom firmware settings file, there is an option to hide corrupt icons - i've never had this on. What does it do? Does it hide non % eboot folders which don't have the the __SCE__ before it, or something else?
Here are the screenshots. I hope someone can help me here i have no idea how this could have happened. Is there a way to modify the XMB icons yet??? That'd be heaps cool...
Thanks in advance guys.

It will make it easier to see the edges of the pics. now, it looks like one big pic, and it's har to see what it is. it looks kinda like a big mess. i really think that the sig would've been really cool if you did Quote: |

pspkillsds... i think what you've said is probably true. But I have not done anything with my PSP firmware yet, only what is on X-Flash. Well, i have Dark_Alex custom firmware and a few mods on it and a gameboot and... doesnt matter, these were all on there before i used X-Flash v15.
It may be a bug in X-Flash v15, i'll try what you guys have all mentioned and if nothing works then i'll try restoring X-Flash'd mods. If all else fails, i might just re-flash to original 1.5 and start over.
Thanks for the help guys.
EDIT: OK, found the problem. Seems you were right monkeyboy1916. I remember seeing a recommendation somewhere not to have a wallpaper greater than 300xwhatever. Restored original wallpaper, icons are fixed.
Why the hell is this? Such a strange problem! Is it a limitation of 1.5fw? I don't want crappy low res wallpaper :'(.
Has this given anybody anywhere in the world any insight as to modding the XMB icons? Has anone ever tried looking into using custom icons in the XMB?
