Font Installation For Standard Firmware
This is my no-bulls**t guide to installing fonts, for use on your PSP v1.50.
Part 1 - Xflash Installation
If you have installed Xflash already, skip these.
1) Download Xflash
here.
2) Open the zip, go into the folder Xflash v15, and copy and paste the two folders there (%__SCE__XFLASH and __SCE__XFLASH) to PSP/GAME on your PSP.
Part 2 - Font Installation On Memory Stick
3) Download Birdman1's Font Pack
here.
4) Go intothe PSP FONTS folder. Choose your font, and go into its folder, then instode the fontmod folder to find the ltn0.pgf.
5) Put this in PSP\GAME\__SCE__XFLASH\Xflash\Modified.
Part 3 - Font Installation On PSP
6) Start Xflash.
7) Go down to '
6) Install custom Font.'
8) THIS IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PART. IF YOU PRESS X AT THIS POINT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE YOU DO TO YOUR PSP. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED MY TUTORIAL CORRECTLY, NO DAMAGE SHOULD OCCUR.
Now that's out of the way, press X to do the job.
9) After the few short animations, hold Home to turn off the PSP. The font should now be installed.
Installing fonts on Devhook Firmwares Part 1 - Downloading
1) Download Birdman1's Font Pack
here.
Part 2 - Installation
2) Find which font you want.
3) Plug in your MS.
4) In the font's folder, there should be another folder, fontmod. Go into that, and copy the ltn0.pgf.
5) In the folder dh, on your MS, there should be several folders, called 260, 271, 250, etc. Double click on the corresponding folder to the firmware you want to install this to.
6) Go into the flash0 folder, then into the font folder.
7) Paste the ltn0.pgf here.
8) You're all set!
