ok first im afraid of bricking my psp so i want to be as shoure of what im doing before i do anything... i saw in the noobz page of this downgrader for the 2.01 so i thought id give it a try..
iv got the eloader and works great with lots of homebrews and got the downgrader (havent installed it yet).. now my questions

ohh i also made shoure that the psp doesnt have the (ehh cant remember)mother bord cuz the letters are on the left side of the bord..

-what eboot of the 1.5 update should i download cuz i saw that they put US version and JAP version next to them.. and im from SPAIN so i dont know if this would work. does it have to be a EURO version??

-is there a lot of chances of briking my psp?? what should i be aware of before doing this?? i bought it a couple of weeks ago so im not to shoure of doing this..

-in case of bricking my psp how much would a motherboard cost to raplace it??

-how many people tryed this downgrader??

-anything alse i may have mised out on checking??

-ohh and i herd that people then upgrade to version 2.0 then to 1.5 so it works better.. since i got 2.01 do i have to do this??

first of take your original 32mb sony memstick format it and error check it,
next download the NEW tiff-eloader 0.98 and extract to memstick as specified in readme next download the 2.01 downgrader and extract the 2.01downgrade folder to the memstick under PSP\GAME,
next goto Pictures and open the eloader folder and you psp will load the tiff-eloader 0.98,
now select the 2.01 downgrader (only item)
once selected it'll load then select the option downgrade to 1.5,
once the program has finished go back to the xmb and check your system settings for your version number (should be 1.0(note it is still 2.01 just the version is faked to 1.0)),
Now download the 1.5 eboot usa or jap doesn't matter but id recommend usa as i've never tried the jap ver,
now copy the 1.5 update to memstick-> PSP\GAME\UPDATE all capitals and run from xmb,
NOTE!!!! when "updating" to 1.5 Always make sure you have at least 70%+ battery power ideal full and the power adapter plugged in (MUST) and i'd also recommend placing it on a solid table to stop movement and kick any animals out

once complete you'll get error ffffffffff hold off till power off then turn on and re-enter first start-up set-up, setting name time timezone and language then you will have a 1.5 PSP enjoy

On a further note once you have your 1.5 use sxt version changer to fake the version to 7.50 to prevent accidental updating

p.s. as this downgrading method is identical to the 2.0 method and it is clean installing then you do not require reistalling 1.5 via 2.0 mph downgrading method.

Don;t use SXT Version Changer - Use X-Flash. It may look scary at first, as it is all ASCII, but trust me - it does several security checks on everything you do, so it's 100% secure. Yiy can change your version number to 13.37 with it.

if your a newbie then go for the simple, sxt version changer.

dl.qj.net is also a good bet - it has just about every homebrew app ever released in its archives.

I think that psp-homebrew is probably the best. There are over 878 programs from over 430 authors listed there, with descriptions, rankings, and download links.
