Cleaning the UMD drive

Yea, how do I do it. I mean the reader. It takes forever to load UMDs.

EEK, I dont think you should try it, you could ruin it forever, but take a Q-Tip with a TINY dab of alchohol on it and gently rub the lense ( I Highly suggest not doing it ), afterwards it could work better or worse

i wouldnt suggest it.

I have 2 theories:
1. You may just be a REALLY impatient person and you consider the normal loading time of a UMD to be longer then normal.
2. If you do happen to have a dirty laser lens, you could make it a lot worse than it already is by touching it with any cleanser/cleaning tool.

your not gonna like this but if it is slowing down then i would just take a cotton bud with NOTHING on it and just run it against it

The reason I know its slow, is because I actually timed it to another (that and I remember it being much faster). And why a clean cotton swab?
